RDD Process

The PFI contract involves LiLAC designing the new properties for the Independent Living Project. These designs are reviewed by Leeds City Council at each stage to ensure that they meet the stringent requirements of the Output Specification that forms a part of the contract.

This is known as Reviewable Design Data (RDD). There are RDD meetings held most months between the builder, Jack Lunn, the architect, Halliday Clark and Leeds City Council to discuss the latest designs.
Above you can see, left to right, Howard Eastwood from the PPPU, Leeds City Council; Rob Martin from Jack Lunn Construction and David Halliday from Halliday Clark reviewing the latest detail drawings for one of the phase 2 buildings.
